After 16 years at McHale P.A., where she joined as an intern and moved up to partner, Veronica brings a wealth of experience having worked alongside Jerry McHale, who was an exceptional partner and mentor in her career development. After McHale's retirement, Veronica started her own firm, Fiuza CPA.

Fiuza CPA is a forensic accounting firm founded by Veronica Fiuza (Larriva), a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. With over 16 years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, and expert testimony, Veronica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each case. She holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, both from Florida Gulf Coast University. Veronica is fluent in English and Spanish and has an advanced level of Portuguese. 

Veronica is a dedicated forensic accountant with a strong focus on civil and criminal cases. She specializes in fraud examination and detection, expertly navigating complex scenarios such as Ponzi schemes. With a commitment to delivering accurate findings, Veronica also provides expert testimony to support legal proceedings. Her extensive experience makes her a trusted resource for those seeking clarity in financial matters.

In 2022, Veronica received the "Emerging Leader Women to Watch" award issued by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). This award is given annually to only one female CPA selected from the entire state of Florida. In 2019, she was recognized by Gulfshore Business Magazine as one of the "40 Under 40" rising stars. In 2017, Veronica received the FICPA "Horizon Award" which recognizes the brightest young CPAs in the State of Florida.

Veronica is an active leader in several local organizations. She was a Treasurer and board member of the Harry Chapin Food Bank (2018-2022), chair of the FICPA Southwest Florida Chapter (2016-2017), chair of the FICPA Florida Gulf Coast University Accounting and Tax Conference (2017-2018), past committee member of the FICPA Valuation Litigation Support Conference and a past committee member of the Young CPAs. Veronica's professional affiliations also include The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
